Party Wall Mediation

Mediation encourages communication between neighbours and gives them control over the process more than simply delegating the party wall decision making to more expensive surveyors. Involving neighbours in the process gives each neighbour more confidence and contentment in the party wall works. Mediation can also be applied in during party wall works, perhaps when something unforeseen arises – as it often can in building works – and it becomes clear that a change to the original plan is necessary.
